Reflection on Subject: Literature, Library Processes, and the Market

As I reflect on my educational journey, I'd like to continue with subject: "Literature, Library Processes, and the Market." This is a chance to revisit what I've learned, see how it all connects, and consider my future learning goals.

What:

This course opened my eyes to the intricate world of library processes, and I particularly enjoyed the group assignment of "publish a book." Working on this project, I gained a wealth of practical knowledge that I feel will be invaluable in the future. The hands-on experience provided a deep dive into the complexities and nuances of library systems and the publishing process, offering insights that I couldn’t have gained through theoretical study alone.

So What:

For quite some time, I've harbored the ambition of publishing my own book. This course, although centered around the processes within a publishing house, offered me a unique glimpse into this world. The guidance from professors, who are well-versed in the intricacies of the publishing industry, was incredibly insightful. Their advice allowed me to understand the practicalities and challenges of book publishing, aligning my expectations with the realities of the industry.

Now What:

Encouraged by this course, I am motivated to continue on my personal journey of bringing my own book to life. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained have equipped me with the tools and confidence needed to navigate the publishing process. Moving forward, I plan to apply these insights and lessons to my own publishing endeavor, aiming to transform the dream of my book into a reality.

I'm a designer, student and bunch of other stuff. I like to do things the other way but I guess I have the right... I am an artist after all.
